"Tony has a great eye for the one thing I need to know at that moment. His explanations work well for me as he uses analogies and feelings to explain what he is after. What I really like is that when he asks for a change and I get it he acknowledges it right away, or encourages movement in the right direction and then he leaves me alone to practice. Some instructors immediately go to what else is wrong, ignoring the small gains, which is a drag. He is a little too good at the ladies moves but there again the man has talent."

"I took my first salsa class with Tony last fall and it was great fun, mainly because of Tony's dedication, meticulous attention, and fun teaching style. However, I recently discovered that Tony had taught us more than just the 'love' of salsa. I was able to catch up with an intermediate class here in Toronto, not because I knew the moves, but (and that's what I was told) because my following techniques and body posture are good. Thanks Tony! Oh, and if you get the chance, try the Rueda class - it's a blast!!"

"Tony's classes are superb and he is a great instructor. he really teaches you how to dance and not only by "copying" the moves and learning them by memory, but actually making you think about what you are doing. my partner and I had a lot of fun in his classes and I can assure you that if you attend the lessons and you practice what you learn you are going to become a great salsa dancer under Tony's guidance.

"Rueda has been my favourite salsa class yet - it just is *so* much fun, the moves are fluid and dynamic. I've taken a few salsa classes in the past and what I had found was that while the instructors knew how to dance salsa, few of them knew how to teach well.
Instruction is an art, as I know since I am in the training field as well, and Tony definitely knows how to teach. Tony is patient and takes the time to focus on the basics and foundations of salsa. This is critical to learning the dance, in my opinion, since it enables me to have the solid technique that is required to pick up on more complex dance patterns. In training, we call these foundations the 'core' for what one has to learn. Once this is learned, the rest (patterns, etc...) build up easily.
Aside from his quality instruction, Tony makes his classes fun. My classmates and I started together in level 1 and together most of us moved on to level 2.
If you want to learn how to dance salsa, and dance it well, you must sign up for Tony's classes!"

"We are just finishing Tony's rueda class and it was GREAT!
We really enjoyed the cuban style, and inventive, personalized moves in rueda. I recommend Tony's rueda class to anyone who has an interest in salsa, its a great compliment to your regular dancing and a lot of fun."
