Step 1 - Registration Policy

SECTION A - REGISTRATION

  1. Registration in any of our courses is limited to 20 people (10 Leads & 10 Follows) on a first come first serve basis unless otherwise noted. The registration is an automated process and it begins with the completion of the online registration form. Please DO NOT complete and submit the online registration form unless you are serious about taking that course.
  2. Within five minutes following the submission of your registration form, an automatically-generated "Confirmation Request" e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you entered on the form. To confirm your registration, simply click "Reply" and send without making any changes to the subject line of the e-mail. The reply MUST be sent from the same e-mail address you entered on the registration form. Replying from a different e-mail address will result in an error.
  3. Only one e-mail address may be used per registration form. If two students register and each fills out a separate registration form using the same e-mail address, an error will occur. Similarly, if a student enrolls in two different courses and fills out two registration forms (one for each course) using the same e-mail address, an error will occur.
  4. Failure to reply to the "Confirmation Request" e-mail may result in the cancellation of your registration request.
  5. Once your reply to the "Confirmation Request" e-mail has been received by our server, your registration will be processed and a spot will be tentatively reserved for you. Please note that this is a tentative reservation only and not a guaranteed reservation. A spot in the desired course is guaranteed only once the tuition fee has been paid in full. (see Payment Options section below)
  6. If the class does not sell out, payment (cash only) can be made on the first day of class. However, if the class is sold out or is close to selling out and others still wish to register, then full payment of the tuition fee will be required to hold your spot. Otherwise, your tentative reservation will be cancelled and your spot will be given to any student who pays the tuition fee before you. Therefore, it is highly recommended to register and pay early to avoid the disappointment of losing your spot and also to take advantage of the "Early Bird Discount" when applicable.
  7. If prior commitment is not possible and space is still available, you can show up 10 minutes early and pay on the first day of class.
  8. Except where noted, a partner is not required for registration as one will usually be provided for you. However, having your own partner is strongly recommended for additional practice time between classes. Also, you can save $10 or more when you register with a partner. (see our Partner Special offer)
  9. We will do our best to ensure that each class has an even number of Leads and Follows. However, there will be no guarantees that this will always be the case.
  10. If a partner is provided for you by EasySalsa Dance, then all students, without exception, must switch partners during class when instructed to do so by the instructor. However, if you enrolled with your own partner, then you have the option of switching or dancing exclusively with your partner.


SECTION B - PAYMENT OPTIONS

  1. Payment of the tuition fee(s) may be made through one of the 3 following options

    • By paying cash in person either prior to the start date or on the first day of class
    • By mailing a cheque payable to Tony Boutros to

    • Convenient and secure online credit card payment through
      NO PayPal ACCOUNT REQUIRED.

  2. Prior to start date of classes, payments can be made by either option above. However, payments made on the first day of class must be cash only. Early payment of the tuition fee is highly recommended to secure your spot in the class and to take advantage of the "Early Bird Discount" when applicable.
  3. "Early Bird Discounts" apply ONLY to those courses where such a discount is offered and, if payment is received prior to the cut-off date.  Refer to the "Registration" section of the desired course to determine if the "Early Bird Discount" applies. SECTION C - REFUND & CREDIT POLICY

  1. We reserve the right to postpone a class to a later date if there are less than 10 registered students, if there is a considerably uneven number of Leads and Follows or in the case of studio scheduling conflict. In either case, the class may be postponed for a period of up to 4 weeks. If the problem is not resolved and the class is cancelled, then the full amount of the tuition fee paid will be refunded to the student.
  2. If a student wishes to cancel his or her registration, a refund of the tuition fee paid, less $30 administration fee, will be granted if the cancellation is made no later than two weeks prior to the original start date of class posted on our website.
  3. There will be no refunds for student cancellations made within the two weeks prior to the original start date of class posted on our website. As mentioned in Section A article 1 above, registration is limited to 10 Lead and 10 Follow positions. Therefore, when a student registers and pays for a course, one of these spots is reserved for that student, hence if the student decides to cancel his or her registration within this two week period it would be impossible for EasySalsa Dance to find a replacement to balance out the number of Leads and Follows in the class.
  4. In the case where a student wishes to cancel within the two week period prior to the original start date of class, a credit will be applied to the student's account. This credit may be applied towards future group and/or private classes and is valid for a period of one year from the date the credit was applied.
  5. There will be no refunds or credits for withdrawals and/or missed classes that occur after the course has started as this will result in an uneven number of Leads and Follows and cause an inconvenience to other students.
  6. In cases where a missed class (or classes) does not cause an imbalance in the number of Leads and Follows and providing that the student paid for the entire course, the student has the option to make up for the missed classes in a future course at the same level and within a period of six months from the end date of the course in which the student in question was registered in. This is subject to review and approval by the management of EasySalsa Dance.
