The Salsa level 1
is definitely the moimest important class to take! We
strongly believe that a solid foundation is a must
if your wish is to become a good dancer. This
class will give you that foundation on which
you can build the required skills needed to be the best you can be on the floor and to proficiently perform the more
complex patterns of our higher levels. It covers
the basic steps, basic turns & pivots (Ochos),
the cross-body lead with strong emphasis on proper leading & following techniques, rhythm recognition and body movement Cuban motion). |

1, covering progressive basic steps, cross-body lead patterns,
natural and reverse turn patterns and basic styling with more emphasis on proper leading & following
techniques, rhythm recognition, smooth transitioning between patterns and body movement
(Cuban motion). After this level, students will possess the skills and the confidence to proceed to the intermediate levels. |

class is the second of a 2 series intermediate levels
and it builds on the material learned in Salsa Level
3, covering even more advanced patterns and combinations
with emphasis on leading & following techniques,
smooth transitioning and some styling for the ladies.
Gentlemen learn to lead your partner through complex
Power Cross-Body Leads with intricate arm patterns
and spins. Ladies, at this level, you will learn
to fine tune your following and spinning skills so
that you will be able to follow any properly-lead
pattern regardless of style or difficulty. |
